New Grown Up Toys

At the end of March, Matt and I finally purchased a new TV. After much research on new TVs, we made the plunge and are the proud owners of a Sony Bravia HD flatscreen TV. Compared to our old 100 pound dinosaur of a TV, the screen on this thing is huge. It's by no means the biggest one they make, but it meets our needs and we are thrilled to have it. Ava thinks it is amazing too, as the picture is just so much bigger and the colors are so vivid. Here are some pictures of our new TV...and Ava watching FOX News on it...




In addition to the new TV, we also bought a new grill. We had to leave our old one behind in Germany, as it was gross and dirty and we didn't see the need to try to wash it up to bring it back to the States. Since the weather has been nice for grilling, we figured it was time for us to finally buy a new grill (and we will use it all summer to avoid heating up the house with the oven). Thanks to a handy gift card from Lowe's that Matt got as a birthday present from his parents, we were able to pick out a great grill with not too much out of pocket expense. That's always the best kind of shopping!

Since assembling the grill, we have used it so much already. We just love grilling out, especially when the weather is bearable.
