The other day, we decided to take her tool bench away and give her her puppy back. Ava forgot the puppy ever existed and she acted like she had never seen him before in her life...which for us was a good thing (it meant that our toy swapping was working). Giving her back her puppy really showed us how much she has changed in the last month. When we initially gave her the puppy in mid-March, she liked him, but didn't really actively play with him. For the most part, we would have to push the buttons on his body to make him talk and sing. She would sometimes push the buttons on his body but she didn't really cognize how he worked. Fast forward a short month later and Ava plays with the puppy, deliberately pushes all of his buttons, and definitely understands how he works.
Anyhow, here are some pictures of Ava playing with her singing puppy again. She thought he was just so delicious...
